| The bar code printed on the docuent should not be overwritten or smudged. Preferably it should be protected by pasting adhesive transparent tape the certificate can be verified as explained here. | ||

| The application given at the kiosk flows to the back end of the concerned department. If the application requires report of analysis of the field staff, that reports is got and then competent authority processes the application. In such cases the application would take certain time. Government is taking action to prescribe time for disposal of various applications under Nemmadi program. Nemmadi would stop clearing other applications ifany application is pending beyond prescribed time. On the other side if the application can be disposed off by using information in Nemmadi database or like caste certificate which has been issued earlier, it shallbe issued on the spot | ||
| 3 | Can an application of one Hobli be accepted in another Hobli? |

| It is possible to accept application from citizens of any village, at a kiosk in any other village of the same taluka. | ||
| 4 | What is the workflow of the Nemmadi documents to & fro from Kiosks? |
|
The application is generated from the Nemmadi system itself and is signed by the applicant. His photo is also taken. The application data electronically flows and the scanned application is also sent on the network to the taluka office via SDC. The physical copy is delivered to the taluka office by the kiosk operator. After receipt of the required information from the village office/field staff, the competent authority, approves the generation of certificate/endorsement and also signs these electronic documents digitally. The documents can now be printed at the telecenter with 2D barcode having the digital signature. He document shall be printed on watermark paper with hologram affixed on it. |

| 5 | How are certificates kept in the archive for reissue within their validity period ? |

Certificates are digitally signed and kept at the SDC. When a request is received at a village telecenter for issue of such certificates, then such certificates are issued across the counter if the system finds that the validity date of such certificate is not over. |

| 6 | Are citizens required to contact village officials and get their report before applying for a certificate at a telecenter ? |
|
The citizens are not required to approach any village official for any document. It is government’s responsibility to get all the required reports from its village staff. However for certain services like mutation due to inheritance the citizen is supposed to furnish death certificate. |

| 7 | What are the documents required to be submitted when applying for a service ? | |
The supporting documents required to be submitted can be seen a ______section. These documents are mandatory. |

| 8 | Where can a citizen apply for getting service under the Nemmadi / RDS project ? | |
The citizen need to apply at any of the village telecenters.located in the taluka to which he belongs. There is no front office at taluka level for receiving the request or delivery of services. The system has been designed in this way so as to let the taluka staff concentrate on back end work and also to ensure that citizens do not have to travel all the way to the taluka office. Incidentally each taluka headquarter has a village telecenter to which those citizens who have come to the taluka headquarters can go. |

| 9 | What about Bhoomi services ? Where will they be delivered ? |
|
Bhoomi services would be delivered from both the taluka bhoomi front offices as well as a village telecenter. Mutation request can also be submitted at a village telecenter. |
